BAND BIOG

Anielka is a Finnish singer & songwriter. Anielka’s musical story began at the age of 5, when she started to play piano. Six years later she started singing and at the age of 14 she started composing and writing lyrics.

Now, ten years later she has composed over one hundred songs and her touching debut album “Nightingale” was released in July 2008 in one of the Pori Jazz Festivals concerts. Anielka’s wide ranging voice is extremely beautiful. From the mouth of one friend: “I think that Anielka has an angel´s voice.

Musicians in the Anielka’s band are Jussi Reunamäki Hammond organ and keyboards, Tapio Lindholm guitars, Jaakko Kotiniemi drums and Rauno Veneranta bass. On the records you can also hear real classical instruments like cello, flute and oboe. Wonderful attitude of musical humility and feeling of togetherness can be felt in the work of Anielka and her band.
