Daylight Saving are a nine piece band from Kent, England

BAND BIOG

With a unique sound that combines elements of jazz, pop, folk and Latin, DaylightSaving have a growing reputation for writing sophisticated, jazz-inflected songs and delivering exceptional live performances.
DaylightSaving are: Kate Lynn-Devere (vocals & flute), Richard Eady (acoustic/hollow-body guitar & melodica), Ash Smith (drums & percussion), Will Roberts (bass), Dave Jackson (saxophone), Craig Lloyd (keys), Adam McCairn (electric guitar) and Steph Gardner & Dee Kennedy (backing vocals). The group was started by vocalist, flautist and lyricist Kate Lynn-Devere and guitarist Richard Eady, who co-write the band's material. Richard and Kate met after Kate heard Richard's solo work on MySpace, and emailed him, asking if he'd like to get together and jam. The rest of the band met at university.
The band refuse to use auto-tune, pitch-fix or other such devices, and avoid overdubbing in studio recordings as much as possible, preferring to keep it real, and to keep music live.
