Hi, we're a new Alternative rock band from Flintshire, North Wales. We recently formed in 2009 and played our first gig at Buckley Tivoli, supporting I Am Austin (who have recently supported The Noisettes), which went down very well with the crowd with lots of great positive feedback. Since then, we've been asked to come back and play there a few more times and have supported some stonking bands. 2009 has been a cracking year and we just hope 2010 will be the year for us.. We have also had our first demo aired on a local radio station in wrexham (CalonFM). All this has happened pretty fast for us so we're hoping for bigger things for this new year and already just played our first headline gig in exactly the same building The Animals and Twisted wheel will be playing at next month (The Tivoli Nightclub). In the 9 months we've been together we have written 12 original songs and play an average set of 40 minutes. Really just want to get out there now and play to everyone that loves music and live bands. Our biggest influences unclude The velvet Underground, Queens of the Stoneage, Rolling Stones, The Stone Roses, The Strokes, Nirvana, Pixies and The Cure and have actually had a lot of feedback after gigs from people saying we sound like a cross between Queens of the Stoneage and Arctic Monkeys with An Imposters twist haha.
