BAND BIOG
"Epic, soaring, indie-rock with a really strong voice that most singers would kill for!" - (Eddy Temple Morris, XFM)
"If you cut their lead singer in half he'd have 'Rock & Roll' written on the inside!" - (Chris Charles, BBC)
"Revolution have arrived and they're more than ready to take on the world. With an amazingly developed sound, they've got all the credentials for making it big" - (The Playground)
"REVOLUTION – The boldest , brassiest of head spinning soundscapes…located somewhere between Echo and The Bunnymen, The Verve and 2nd LP Stone Roses….a triumphant and emotive brew." - (Bugbear Promotions).
"The most ambitious groove-rock coated in very self-conscious contemporaneous vibes, their wall of sound smacks me straight in my face and makes me feel very small indeed. They may want to rename themselves the 'Wow' factor." - (Gary's Fantastic Music Reviews).
Revolution are booked to play Sellindge Festival and Nostock Festival and are currently in discussions with several other festivals. The band has recently supported The Losers, Idlewild and Domino Bones, headlined Kuwaitstock III in Kuwait, Waveform Festival 08 & 09, played Alan McGee's 'Greasy Lips' night and made it to the final of the "Ambition Competition" to support Mark Ronson and Ladyhawke at the KoKo club.
Winners of BBC SC Unsigned, nominated for the BBC Electric Proms, 'Artist Of The Month' at Hitquarters.co.uk and Songquarters 'Artist Of the Week'. Revolution have headlined packed out venues such as The Underworld, The Garage and the London Astoria 2.
