BAND BIOG
Rocketsmith Formed in early 2009 started by Andy Warriner and Drummer Nick Stephenson just as a song writing/ jam once a week in Andy's practice room in Pickering, North Yorkshire.
After a Couple of weeks they enlisted the help of good friends Hank Bartram for the lead guitar duties, Rob Rhodes to stand in on bass and John-Henry Cheethem on rhythm guitar.
The first song to come out of this initial line was "With You," the song was only meant to be performed at Andy's wife's 30th birthday.
After a couple of great receptions at local jam sessions performing Gravity, With You, Real life, and Three Car Pile Up, the Rocketsmith boys soon began to think there was a future in the band.
In the middle of 2009 Nick and Rob left the band to concentrate on there own project Red Chevrons.
Rocketsmith quickly enlisted Rowly Palmer to take over the drums and John-Henry shifted from rhythm guitar to bass.
Rocketsmith's catchy melodies, life story lyrics and sing along attitude to song writing continue to take them forward gathering more and more great fans on the way.
