NOTES

Obviously this is rather a savage subject for modern children but it is a great way to teach parts of the body. If you ignore the overall meaning and just point to the parts of the body as you sing the name then you can get children to learn all sorts whilst having fun as well.

Parts of the body

Here is a list of the words for various parts of the body in French to help you.

One last thing

When I used to sing this to my kids I introduced some extra words at the end of the song which are not strictly French. Hopefully you can work out which parts of the body these totally fictional French words refer to. Be prepared to have children around the age of eight to ten fall about with laughter at this point.
