Notes. I had a great time trying to translate this.
Everywhere I looked up "furet" I got "pipe cleaner". But I really just didn't believe that apipe cleaner would run through the forest, so I kept looking untill I found "ferret". Anyway, this is a circle game. You need a length of string, the same length as the circumference of the circle, with each end tied to a small ring. One child stands in the middle; the rest hold the string. As the song proceeds they pass the ring around the hands trying to keep it hidden. At suitable points, perhaps between verses, the child in the middle gets to guess where the ring has got to. If correct another child takes their place. | |
